DPS-200A, DPS-500A and DPS-500DC - it's redundant power supplies (RPS), designed for use with switches, D-Link. RPS implemented in a robust metal housing with a connector for connection to a source of AC or DC (depending on model) and a connector to connect to an internal power supply switch. Redundant Power Supply (RPS) is an inexpensive device which allows to provide uninterrupted power in the event of an unexpected failure of the internal power switch, which may lead to shutdown of the switch devices connected to its ports, or an entire network. Providing necessary for the switch output, RPS can improve the reliability of power supply devices.
Each RPS D-Link continually monitors the status of the internal power supply. In case of power failure immediately run a backup power source, so the LAN switch and the connected devices can continue to work. This increases the fault tolerance of the network infrastructure and executed protection network disconnects because of power failure, one of the network devices.
Simple and flexible installation
Installing a Series DPS does not require any changes in the settings of LAN switch. Except DPS-500DC, each RPS is equipped with an internal power source and can be connected to any AC power source 90 to 264 volts, with a current frequency of 47 Hz to 63 Hz with a standard power cable. DPS-500DC is connected to a DC power source instead of the AC.
Modular redundant power supplies
DPS-200A, DPS-500A and DPS-500DC - are modular redundant power supplies that can be used as stand-alone device, or install the chassis DPS-800. The chassis can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack. The chassis can install multiple RPS, which can be connected to the switches mounted in the same rack.
The chassis, rack-mountable
Chassis DPS-800 allows you to set up two modules DPS-200A, DPS-500A or DPS-500DC in an equipment rack. Using the chassis saves space and at the same time, the cable system will look neat. All RPS, installed in the chassis, connected directly to the power supply and can be replaced in "hot" mode.
